Rental terms and conditions
Payment is to be made in full upon return of equipment.
Rental costs are calculated according to the number of days you have equipment in your possession, from the time it leaves the shop until the time it is returned.
Non-ski days do not result in a reduction from the rental cost.
You can exchange your equipment free of charge throughout your stay with any other item from the same category.
Online reservation does not entitle you to priority service upon collection of equipment in store.
Exchanging a piece of equipment with another from a different category will require the closure of one rental contract and the opening of another.
Rental Terms and conditions :
The undersigned has read, understood and agrees to all terms and conditions as stated below :
Upon taking possession of rental equipment, the client takes full responsibility for it. If the client does not return equipment (regardless of the reason) he/she will be invoiced and obliged to pay the full public retail price of the equipment plus the rental cost.
All equipment is rented in good condition and should be returned as such. Any damage (damaged or broken edges, broken bindings, etc), however caused, will incur, on top of rental costs, charges to the client covering repair or replacement of the equipment “as new”.
Rental equipment is destined solely for the use of the client, without the possibility of lending or subletting it to a third party, even if not for monetary gain. The client is the sole judge of his/her capacity to use the equipment rented and Tremplin bases its hire solely on declarations made by the client.
The rental period is calculated by half-days, starting when equipment is taken into the possession of the client and ending when it is returned to Tremplin. All equipment taken before 3:30pm or returned after 10am will be incur an additional half-day’s hire to be paid by the client at the rate and according to the conditions publicly displayed in the shop.
Proof of identity and CB card may be requested prior to rental of equipment, along with other information as detailed in article 7. Failure to satisfy these requirements may result in a rental being refused.
In case of non-payment of rental costs, the credit card details and cryptogramme de sécurité(including card number and expiration date) left by the client upon collection of the equipment pre-authorise the Tremlpin to remove from his/her account full payment according to the prices and conditions displayed in the store, in accordance with the invoice (rental contract) that he/she signed when collecting the equipment.
The information we request from the client upon rental of equipment allows us to understand our client base better. It is obligatory to respond to all the questions, except where it is noted that an answer is optional. All of this information remains totally confidential and will never be divulged to a third party.
Payment of rental costs must be made in full by the due date. Late penalties will be applied for late payments, at a rate of 150% of the standard rental rate.
Any disputes relating to this contract will be taken before the relevant tribunal.
The prices indicated are in Euros and are inclusive of taxes.
Payment is accepted by: credit cards, holiday cheques.
Reservations relate only to the rental of equipment and not to purchases made in store.
The client will take delivery of all products ordered in store.
Photographs, text, graphics and product information displayed on this site are intended to be illustrative only and are in no way contractual.
The client may choose from a range of models in the category he/she selected upon reservation, on a “first in, first served” basis. If a client would like to a precise model, a request should be lodged in the “comments” box on the reservation page. We will try our best but cannot guarantee to meet such requests.
The client agrees to use rented equipment solely for the use, and on the surface (snow), it is intended for. A copy of the client’s credit card or a cheque will be requested upon rental and held as a caution.
The Tremplin will adjust bindings when the client arrives to collect rental materials (fitting costs appear on the rental invoice) and does not accept responsibility if the client make alterations to the binding themselves.
In case of force majeure (fire, flood, break-in, bankruptcy, etc) a rental contract may be nullified and the Tremplin may not honor rental reservations or guarantee rental of any equipment.
